Forest floor finds are such a treat!

If you know which trees to look under there are some fabulous branches after all the recent stormy weather and they make lovely additions to wreaths, garlands and vases for Christmas.

A u t u m n dinners are magical @cowdrayhouse .

We used bracken, chrysanthemum blooms, hydrangea heads, rose hips, grasses and seedheads, a few crab apples and some autumn leaves.

Many of you will know that I’m living with secondary breast cancer aka metastatic, stage 4.

More alfresco dining here with @caperandberry with the all important breeze tent for shade.

The cool zinc topped tables and rattan chairs look fabulous dressed simply with our wooden candlesticks and footed hurricane lamps.

Dahlias, roses and fruit are such a great combination at this time of year.
I often use strawberry plants with flowers but the blackberries are just emerging and they are great to use when they are still mostly green but just showing colour….
